About the founder:

Gregg Zukowski founded Revolution Rickshaws in 2005 as a market-based eco-accountable business solution provider for New York City businesses, residents, and visitors committed to expanding the local sustainable business footprint while maintaining the highest level of business execution and performance.

After a stint as secretary of the Kings County Green Party Organization in 2003-04, Gregg decided to dedicate himself to bringing to bear effective, eco-accountable logistics on the world of business.

An avid bicyclist since his childhood as Gregg grew older he was fascinated by the possibility of making a living cycling. He began working as a bike messenger in 1994 with Portable People, moving on to Breakaway Courier in 1996. Finding the job exhilarating but less than lucrative, he moved into the world of editing, including stints at JPMorganChase, Energy Intelligence Group, and even Romantic Times Magazine before setting out on his own, freelance editing under the name Bacchus Editorial for various financial and publishing firms.

The opportunity to move back into the cycling world came in summer of 2003, when he took his first spin as a pedicab rider with Pedicabs of New York. He's never looked back.
